Expand App: Creating a Group Event

For TMI Group Leaders using Expand to set up a Group Event

1. Open Expand app on phone;
2. Click on group icon at bottom of screen (icon looks like 3 little people all together);
3. This brings up a list of TMI groups; click on your group;
4. Screen appears showing the name of your group, groups goal statement and number of members;
5. At the top of this screen click on icon to create group event (this icon resembles a cake with two candles sticking up, at least to me that’s what it looks like!);
6. Click on the blue “Create an Event” bar;
7. In the window type in the name of your event (I type in the date of our group meeting and the title of the meditation we will use);
8. Click on continue;
9. Skip “Tell us about your group event”;
10. Skip “Add cover Photo;” etc
11. Event Location window – click on “Virtual;”
12. Add Meditation prompt – scroll to the chosen meditation;
13. Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time prompt – enter information;
14. Click on Review and Confirm.
